Welcome to our choir
Our year is now well under way. On the 24th February we had a very bright performance where we featured in the first session of a musical evening at the Ryde Library; many very appreciative comments from our audience. Have a listen to us singing “Stout Hearted Men”.
Our next performance is at Aminya Retirement Village on Tuesday 7 March followed by another performance later in March at the Anglicare Village in Castle Hill – a great start to our year.
For following performances click on Concerts tab on the menu above.
By the way, we have room for new members in our choir, so if you enjoy good singing in good company click on the button at the bottom of the page!

About us
Our philosophy
Concerts
The successful Ku-Ring-Gai Male Choir is one of the oldest performing male voice choirs in Australia.
Founded by ex-servicemen following the Second World War, the choir has been in harmony since 1946 and today has 40 performing members.
The choir is currently under the musical direction of Dr Paul Whiting and accompanied by Hank Xiang.
The choir would like to acknowledge the generous support of Ku-ring-gai Council.
The members of Ku-Ring-Gai Male Choir are brought together with the common desire of making music, coupled with social interaction.
We are a non-audition choir and new members are always welcome; we do not ask that you sing like a professional, and the ability to read music is not required but would be helpful.
All that is required is a love of music and the commitment to attend the majority of rehearsals.
The Ku-Ring-Gai Male choir has a full annual concert schedule held at retirement villages around the North Shore, with a number of special concerts that are held in larger venues and that attract hundreds of spectators.
All retirement village concerts are conducted in aid of our supported charities. The choir is always interested in talking to prospective venues; if you would like to talk to us about the choir performing at your venue please email us at info@kuringgaimalechoir.org.au
