Supported Charities

Our choir is a charity and is registered as such with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. All donations to the choir are tax deductible. To make a donation, please get in touch with the Choir Secretary (Ken Wade 0408 644 063).

Our Choir performs at retirement villages  in the wider Ku-Ring-Gai area. Funds raised at these performances go to The National Braille Music Camp which assists blind children performing music and to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

Charities are reviewed and selected annually by the Executive Committee and the whole choir.

The charities that are currently supported by the choir are:

Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia

Prostrate Cancer

We are Australia’s leading community-based organisation for prostate cancer research, awareness, and support.

Vision: A future where no man dies of prostate cancer and Australian men and their families get the support they need.

Mission: To reduce the burden of prostate cancer for all Australians, mobilising the community to drive research, prevention and early detection, improved treatment, and world-class psychosocial care.

National Braille Music Camp

The Australian Braille Authority organises the National Braille Music Camp, an annual residential camp for braille readers who love music and wish to learn, improve or teach braille music. Running for more than 30 years, the camp offers lessons in reading braille music and concludes with a concert, always of a high standard.
